The Monastery of the Apocalypse and St. John above the Chora; a quiet island that has kept its soul.

Knossos and the Minotaur's palace in the morning; the Venetian harbour and a long Cretan lunch in the afternoon.

Up the fjord-like Bay of Kotor between black mountains to a walled Venetian town at its head.
